FAQ: Tour the new Client Home Page

Launching to all your users over the course of the next few months, the new client booking home page for your EAP program offers significant new features that improve access to care, and increase the understanding of your program.

Client Home Page Overview

The new client home page we're launching provides key information for program users, which we've detailed below. Here is a preview of the page:

Entitlement Status

For clients whose psychologist has moved into our new system we will show their entitlement status and usage:

Program rules and behaviours vary, so if your program offers fewer sessions, or offers separate allocations for psychology services and wellbeing services, these will be appropriately shown. We use a system of "session credits" to show the session balance, and each service consumes an amount of session credits consistent with your program rules.

Bookable service tiles

Each service a client can book shows as a separate tile with an indication of the number of credits that a session or bundle will consume.

Generally standard EAP psychology sessions consume one session credit, as noted above. As we roll out the system, direct online booking of sessions will become available. In the meantime, sessions are offered via the existing "request" approach which connects the client with our Reception team.

Wellbeing services are generally offered as a bundle of three sessions and so, in the example shown below, requesting a wellbeing service consumes three session credits. Because we work with a range of internal and external expert partners, wellbeing services use a system that requests the service, supported by our Reception team.

Online Booking Experience

The new online booking experience, when available, offers the ability to book both in-person appointments at our offices, or telehealth nationwide via video or phone sessions.

For in-person sessions we ask for the location of the user for the session and then show the nearest three PeopleSense offices. Pathways are available for those where a suitable office is not in close proximity.

For Telehealth sessions we convert nationwide availability to the local timezone of the user. The user selects whether they want to telephone of online video call as their preference:
