This article provides some ideas for ways you may wish to communicate the changes to the PeopleSense booking experience that are launching from early 2024
Overview
In January 2024, PeopleSense by Altius will provide your organisation with a unique booking page that is tailored to your program and the services you offer through it. We will share the custom link for your organisation in mid-January via email.
In order to promote this new feature to your users, we suggest a simple internal communications plan that:
- Updates your internal company website (intranet) with the new link.
- Shares the new link with users via your internal communications channels - we have drafted some sample messaging below that may serve as thought-starters for these efforts.
- Advises your users of the upcoming features of the program to demonstrate the new added value you are offering to them via the program.
At the same time as sending you the new link, we will also make several updates for you:
- If your organisation uses AltiusLife, we will update the booking request button in AltiusLife to direct users to your organisation-specific location.
- If we have generated a unique booking QR code for your organisation, we will update the destination to direct users to your booking request page.`
Sample Internal Communications Plan
You and your program users will benefit from the new link as it provides a tailored experience around the service you offer, and will lead to online booking capabilities for the program in the coming months.
Once you have updated internal links to your unique PeopleSense by Altius booking page, an email or other communications on appropriate company channels may be suitable. The following are just examples of the type of communications you may wish to send and you should, of course, change the contents to match your internal language, program name and the specific link we send you. The example below assumes you use the term "EAP" to refer to the program.

Who can use the service?
As an employee of our company, you receive 6 EAP sessions per year (a year being the 12-months following your first appointment) [CHANGE THESE DETAILS TO MATCH THE SPECIFICS OF YOUR PROGRAM OFFERING]. These renew each following year. Your immediate family members are also eligible (spouse/de facto partner, children up to 18 years of age), and you can share this information with them.

- Psychology: Individual or couples’ psychological treatment, to explore personal or work-related concerns, using evidence-based interventions.
- General personal life counselling (family and relationship issues, depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, substance use and grief/loss)
- Workplace counselling (stress, burnout, conflict, bullying and trauma)
- Preventative support (mindfulness, proactive self-care, building psychological resilience and values alignment)
- Manager Assist: Support for people leaders, including employee fitness for work and mental health concerns, performance management, conflict, organisational change and communication or leadership development.
- Nutrition: personalised nutrition advice designed to support healthy eating habits.
- Financial: Assess your current financial situation, build your knowledge and understanding of financial matters, and receive a money management plan and guidance on home budgeting matters.
- Exercise Physiology: Consult with an accredited exercise physiologist to develop a customised exercise program based on your fitness level, life goals, and preferred exercise methods.
- Legal: Consult with one of Australia’s most trusted family legal firms. Topics include parenting, pre-nuptial arrangements, complex family matters, separation and divorce, property settlement, and conveyancing.
- Psychology: Individual or couples’ psychological treatment, to explore personal or work-related concerns, using evidence-based interventions.

Sessions are confidential
Sessions with PeopleSense by Altius are confidential, meaning the content discussed, and even the fact that you have used the service, stays between you and your psychologist or other expert. Personally identifiable information relating to your session attendance and matters discussed will not be shared with our company unless you provide PeopleSense with written consent to release it. Reporting to our company is carefully restricted to protect the identity of people using the service. PeopleSense provides only anonymised, aggregated data to us to summarise service usage.

New features of our Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
We are excited to share that our EAP provider, PeopleSense, is launching a series of new booking experiences for our company, starting this month.

- Available now: A unique booking request page specific to our organisation which is tailored to our EAP program and the services we offer. This is available today at peoplesense.au/[YOUR CUSTOM LINK GOES HERE]. We've also updated the link on our internal website where you can learn about the Employee Assistance Program in full. You may start using this page today to request EAP appointments, and choose how the team at PeopleSense replies to you to confirm your appointment.
- Starting in February: PeopleSense will be adding features to our booking request form that enable you to create and manage your personal client profile, allowing you to onboard into the program quickly and easily.
- Starting in March, PeopleSense will begin to roll out appointment availability via online booking. PeopleSense are rolling out online booking of their Psychologists over a period of several weeks, so you may not immediately see this become available for you, but as they do there will be increasing availability of sessions that can be booked online. Online booking will allow you to make an appointment for both Telehealth (video and phone) sessions, as well as for In-Person sessions at their offices throughout Australia.

Book and Manage your EAP Appointments Online
You can use the above link and code to make and manage appointments for key services offered under our Employee Assistance Program. Services such as personal, child, and couples Psychology appointments, and our Manager Assist Program, can be booked directly with PeopleSense's team of Psychologists.
Additionally, requests can be made for additional services we offer you through the program to further support your wellbeing such as financial support, legal support and nutrition counselling.
Online booking will allow you to make an appointment for both Telehealth (video and phone) sessions, as well as for In-Person sessions at PeopleSense's offices throughout Australia.
