New PeopleSense Online Booking Experiences from January
In January PeopleSense by Altius will start to launch a series of online booking innovations for your EAP program which we believe will bring significant benefits to your program users, and to you, our valued partner.
This email describes these changes, and we ask you to kindly review this schedule as, in January, we will ask you to update internal links to the booking page for your EAP program.
What are the features of the new booking experience?
These new features will provide your EAP program users with:
-
In January: A unique booking request page specific to your organisation which is tailored to your EAP program and the services you offer.
-
Starting February: The ability for EAP users to create a personal client profile, allowing your users to onboard themselves into the program quickly and accurately.
-
Starting March: The ability to book selected EAP services online, directly with our Psychologists, allowing program users to create and manage appointments.
We believe these new features will further reduce the anxiety involved in reaching out to your EAP program, make the program easier to understand, and allow the booking and management of appointments in ways that suit even more users.
We have already started this series of changes with a new general booking request page which you can visit at PeopleSense.au.
What is happening in January?
In January, we will send you the unique booking link for your organisation. At that time we will ask you to update internal links on your intranet to take users to your unique PeopleSense booking request page. You may also wish to develop an internal communication plan for sharing this new link, and we’ve created a sample plan to help inform your thinking around this (see our thoughts here).
Your unique booking request page will be customised to your organisation's program and will show only the services you offer. And it will remain the starting point for the new features we’re launching in the coming months.
If your organisation uses AltiusLife, we will update the booking request button in AltiusLife for you. And if we have created a QR code for your promotional use we will update these to direct users to the new page too.
What happens after January?
After your new booking request page launches, we will add new features on the page to allow users to create a personal profile from February, and then to access online booking of key services from March.
Alongside further communications to you, we are planning communications to active clients to inform them of the ability to fully book online following the March release.
Will our users have to visit our unique booking page to make an appointment?
No. Your users will always be able to make bookings by phone, and we will continue to provide access to our existing general booking page as an option for users who do not have your custom link. Our general booking page will gradually move to an approach where we first ask users for an ‘organisation code’ to ensure the right experience for your EAP program, but our general booking form will always allow booking requests if your users don’t have the direct link or code. Details about your ‘organisation code’ and upcoming new features will follow in future communications to you in the new year.
What happens next?
We are committed to a smooth transition to our enhanced online system for you and your users. We will share additional details in the coming weeks, starting with sharing your new unique booking request link in mid-January.
If you have any questions about the new booking experience, or wish to include others in these upcoming communications, please let us know by replying to this email or reaching out to us at news@peoplesense.au.
